At times we have to choose between the path that is conventional and the path that is not. In today's world that once worn path that our great grandparents traveled is so overgrown and forgotten that it barely exists. Our goal is to reforge that forgotten path and make it new again.

Happy Birthday, MACKENSON!

Yesterday was Mackenson's 3rd birthday! He had lunch with Papa and Mama at the DFAC. In the afternoon he played outside with his sister and neighbor kids then opened presents. After supper he ate chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream. Marie gave him a dump truck (it's is a lot like a stomper-cool!), his neighbor friend gave him hotwheels, Papa/Mama gave him pajamas, cool socks, books and Sesame Street underpants, Gramps/Grannie gave him a bubble lawn mower. He had a very good day and was extremely happy and hyper by bedtime! This was his first birthday at home; he was at the creche for his 1st and 2nd birthdays. Happy Birthday, Mack!

They are so cute! I bet you guys are having so much fun with these little people.

How is the adjustment going? Are they getting used to all things American yet? How is the English coming along?

Danny is envious of Joe's little mini work shop. Someday he hopes to have his own garage to carve wood in and build things.

We miss you guys!

Hey - we have that same bubble mower! I bought it brand new about a month ago. Ours doesn't blow bubbles though - so aggravating. Sam doesn't realize it's supposed to blow bubbles, so he's content just pushing it around, but it frustrates me. I've tried every brand of bubbles I can get my hands on, even homemade and it won't blow bubbles!! I'd be curious to know if you've had similar experience with yours.
